Refinery46 is a 30,000 sqft, 3-floor, coworking, office, and event space located in south Broad Ripple. Before becoming Refinery46, the building was an abandoned grocery store distribution center that the owners purchased, renovated, and converted into a premier small business incubator and event space.
We have over 3,000 sqft of open workspace that includes diverse workspace options, bookable call, meeting, and boardrooms, as well as 5 different types of offices that can also be leased.
There are over 80 businesses that work from Refinery46. They range across every industry, with the majority of our members being business owners themselves. However, we do have a good number of members that are including remote workers or individuals who wanted a dedicated workspace outside their home or corporate office.
Refinery46 is a 24/7 facility for our members, where they are able to come and go as they please. Refinery46 staff will be onsite between 8:00am to 5:00pm for tours and onsite support.
Refinery46 is currently a single location coworking space. However, we are part of the Indiana Coworking Passport that allows you to leverage your membership with us across the state of Indiana at various participating coworking spaces.
For members, pets are welcome! That is so long as they are friendly towards people and other pets, and do not bark too much!
Yes! We have our own large parking lot behind our building that is completely free for members and event guests.
We host various happy hours, luncheons, round tables, and speaker series that are industry focused to foster deeper connection with other professionals related to our members. Additionally, we partner with various external organizations to bring free networking and training events to our members throughout the year.
Absolutely! Between Monday and Friday, if a member needs to use our large conference space for an event related to their business, they can use the space for FREE. If they need the space for a private event, we reduce the price to our lowest possible charge for that date. Call, meeting, and boardroom bookings are always free for members, as well as use of our podcast studio.
Coworking memberships
Coworking is when multiple companies and individuals share a work environment’s space and amenities. Coworking is becoming more and more popular because it allows smaller companies and individuals to have access to really great facilities and amenities at an affordable rate due to the shareability and scale of the space. For those that are small business owners, solo entrepreneurs, remote workers, or interested in being part of a broader community, coworking provides a setting where you can grow your social and professional network while having an effectively conditioned space to get your day-to-day work accomplished.

ALL MEMBERSHIP LEVELS come with full access to the building and the following is a list of the majority of amenities provided.

  • An SEO friendly business address that can be registered with Google to access the Broad Ripple and Indy proper areas in relevant Google Searches.
  • 24/7 access to the building
  • Unlimited booking of our (2) call rooms, (2) meeting rooms, podcast studio, and boardroom
  • 3 floors of flexible workspace
  • Training Room bookings are free for business purposes from Monday through Friday
    1. o Members receive a 50% discount on renting the event venue (Training Room and Café) for personal events
  • Free locally roasted coffee and produced kombucha

Coworking memberships cost $150/mo. A price we have not needed to raise in 6 years of operation!
Yep! We get it, life happens. So we strive to be as flexible as you need us to be when it comes to your membership.
We have AT&T fiber running through the building. The high-speed internet is Wi-Fi accessible throughout our entire 30,000 sqft facility.
Nope! Never! Everything is included. We keep it simple so you can truly feel at home in our space.
We leverage an app that allows you to make bookings for any day or time, whenever you need the spaces. There are no limits to how often or how long you can book a space. You need it? Then book it!
Of course! That is a very common occurrence for our members. Since we do not charge a start-up fee, we can be very accommodating to even allow a mid-month shift from coworking membership to an office lease.
You are allowed to have professional and personal guests. Please be aware of when your guests are arriving and meet them by our entrance or in the Café to escort them to where you are meeting with them. We do asks that any and all guests follow our guidelines for using the facility and trust you to ensure they are respectful of the space!

We always have referral promotions going on for members and friends of our community! Check in with the Refinery46 staff on what the exact promotions are for that season and earn some extra cash for yourself by adding to our awesome community!
Office spaces
  • Private Office – 50 sqft – 6-month lease - $350/mo
  • Small Office (Start-up Office) – 110 sqft – 1-year lease - $550/mo
  • Large Office (Team Office) – 165 sqft – 1-year lease - $750/mo
  • Studio – 155-190 sqft – 1-year lease - $750/mo
  • Enterprise Floor Suites – 1,000 sqft+ - 3 to 5 year lease -$1800/mo+

We do not provide any office space besides our Private Offices. If we have any extra furniture around, members always get first dibs on it though!
Absolutely! That is one of the biggest perks of an office space with us. You are getting far more than just the square footage of your office for the same price (or even more affordable) than at other locations that only give you an office.

Of course! We host countless private parties and events every year. We pride ourselves on our space being aesthetically memorable, as well as customizable for any type of event.
Yes! Our space is built to host multiple teams and gatherings at a time, and it is diverse enough with our meeting rooms, boardroom, and conference space to meet the needs of any corporate event or gathering between 1 to 100 people.

For private events, we rent the space out in 4-hour increments with set-up and tear down time provided in addition to those 4-hours at no additional cost.

For corporate events, we allow teams to rent the space for as long as they need. Whether it is just a 1-hour gathering or a full day or multi-day booking, we can make that work for a very affordable rate.

Nope! Bring what fits your budget and needs.
We request a refundable cleaning deposit before hosting your event. This is just to ensure that you reset the room or space per our procedure document shared with you in advance of your event. By going this route, we are able to keep our event very affordable.
We request a minimum of a 30-day notice before your event date to receive a full refund.
